Many people are looking for Wealthy Affiliate alternatives because they offer similar features and benefits. Wealthy Affiliate is a great option for some people, but these other options may be a better fit for others. Some of the best Wealthy Affiliate alternatives include ClickFunnels Affiliate Training, SEO Affiliate Domination, Affiliate Secrets 3.0 and BlogFocused.
While Wealthy Affiliate may be a great option for some people, these other options may be a better fit for others. Today we will explore some of the alternatives to wealthy affiliate, including a few training platforms and courses within the same style, with a few curve balls thrown in.
This list isn't exhaustive, and if I am honest, could be huge, so I have kept to some of the best courses I have reviewed and loved, as well as a few that come highly praised and recommended within this space.
What is Wealthy Affiliate And What Do they Offer?
We can't really look at alternatives to wealthy affiliate, without address what Wealthy Affiliate is, and what they offer. You can read a full in-depth breakdown of their material in this Wealthy Affiliate Review.
Wealthy Affiliate is a program that offers online affiliate marketing training and tools. They have a great reputation for being a top-rated affiliate marketing program with many features and benefits. Wealthy Affiliate is a great option for those who want to learn how to start an online business and become successful in affiliate marketing.
With 1.4m members, and roughly 10,000 new businesses being created (i.e websites set up) they cannot be dismissed within the world of affiliate marketing.
They offer a wide variety of training materials, including live weekly training classes, video lessons, and written articles. They also have a large community of members who are willing to help and support each other.
A large majority of their training focuses on blogging, SEO and website creation, but there is an increasing number of articles and individual training, provided by their expert coaches covering other styles.
Wealthy Affiliate is an 'freemium' model, providing their 'Getting Started' course, with around 10 lessons and 25 core tasks (the last 2 tasks are just telling you to upgrade).
This free course will take you through the steps of setting up your own affiliate blog, starting with mindset, niche selection and ending with additional keyword research and ideas.
The monthly paid version of Wealthy Affiliate, offers you a access to additional hosting slots, a thriving community and of course a ton more training.
Wealthy Affiliate starts at $49 per month, to find out more about the whole of the wealthy affiliate package, check this review out.
SEO Focused Wealthy Affiliate Alternatives
Wealthy Affiliate is an SEO and website building focused training, as such it's only fair to find and evaluate courses and platforms that contain, or focus on similar activities.
SEO Affiliate Domination
For those who haven't head of SEOAD, you may have been living under a rock, or at least not realising this method and super affiliate is as huge as he is.
SEO Affiliate Domination, or SEOAD is a high ticket, high value SEO focused training from (among many things) a ClickFunnels Dream Car Winner, Greg Jefferies.
Greg's unique take on SEO and building websites is vastly different from basically any other course I have ever seen, gone through or even heard about, and his methods allow people to rank and start earning commissions a lot quicker than most people.
The Affiliate Domination course covers all of the basics such as SEO, website creation, keyword research, advanced keyword research methods (You are really paying to dive deep into this area) and of course how to succeed with his methods. SEO AD is a very unique method, and hard to explain, other than calling them 'Mass Page Sites'.
These sites allow you to target hundreds, or thousands of keywords and variations etc, ranking for these keywords and pulling in commissions left right and centre.
I would note, I see his methods as great hat, there are some elements that could be seen as spammy, or not 'clean' and websites can come and go within a few months (i.e. you are not building an authority site like you will in other methods).
You can check out the full SEO Affiliate Domination review here. Or you can check out the webinar that explains Greg's methods and style, as well as showing how much support and effort they put into getting you up and running.
A unique twist, and one I enjoy, is that he actually hands you back your investment, if you make the cost of the course back in commissions using his methods. And honestly, if you follow along, especially with the 90 day challenge, your chances to succeed are super high.
SEO Affiliate Domination Pros
- This is a unique way of building websites and blogs
- You can potentially rank faster, and for many more keywords using this method (potentially resulting in faster returns)
- Google updates and changes rarely seem to have much of an affect on this method
- Greg offers your investment back once you hit a certain level of commissions with his techniques
SEO Affiliate Domination Cons
- This method isn't for everyone
- Some will see it as grey hat, which against doesn't suit everyone who tries it
- These websites are not meant to be built for building authority or branding, and you will have to replace them eventually (though you have all the knowledge to do so)
BlogFocused
Now, because I do like to offer full transparency on this blog, the following course was created by me. It is my own full training course that is designed to cut through the bullshit you find online and get you an awesome website set up.
BlogFocused is split across roughly 4 weeks, though it's now on version 2 and has slightly expanded across the 4 week mark.
The training takes you through the journey of understanding what blogging is all about, covering mindset and basically re-enforcing the fact you need to actually focus on one method when it comes to affiliate marketing.
It then of course covers blogging platforms, picking niches, programs, names and a whole ton more. Each part is broken down into bit size pieces. Though some people have asked for a few of the videos to be broken down further, so that's on the cards for V3.
The idea behind BlogFocused was to offer a cost effective, but also support focused environment, so of course there is direct access to me, and a support group to help you every time you get stuck.
Something I noticed with other courses was that the owner, or course maker would simply disappear after a few weeks, or months and go onto the next project. I have sat and answered questions and emails for 14+ months now and will continue to do so.
Check out a BlogFocused review here from one of the early bird students. BlogFocused is a 1 off cost, meaning you get access to the support group, inbox, affiliate programs etc without having to pay monthly.
Of course you don't get access to 10 hosting spots, but you can find decent hosts that will offer you spots cheaper than Wealthy Affiliate.
I would say it would be difficult for me to say pro's and cons to my own course, but, here goes.
BlogFocused Pros
- Each steps is provided in an easy to follow and digest bitesized chunk
- It's aimed at providing the core steps you need to follow, removing the fluff or confusion
- I provide ongoing support and help for those who are active and seek advice
BlogFocused Cons
- Some areas could be clearer, and broken down further
- Additional content could be added for more advanced techniques
Affiliate Secrets 3.0 / 21Day Blogs
Another ClickFunnels super affiliate and currently their number 1 affiliate, Spencer Mecham's Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is actually a course that covers more than just SEO, but it has a huge section that focuses on SEO and blogging.
Spencer actually partnered with one of the most respected affiliates I know of in the SEO and blogging space. Nate McCallister, of Entresource. Nate is surprise surprise, another ClickFunnels super affiliate and someone who has done some amazing work within the Amazon and eCommerce space.
Spencer's Affiliate Secrets 3.0 included the pairs full blogging training, originally sold as 21day blogs. When Spencer updated his own training course, they bundled it together with all of Spencer's methods, creating a super affiliate course.
Of course, you can pick up 21Day Blogs for just $97, and it will provide you with everything you need to get a new website up and running in, you guessed it, 21 days.
The majority of the blogging and SEO course is taught by Nate, who is an authority on blogging. With a few sections covered by Spencer, who credit where credit is due has also done brilliantly with his authority site.
Spread across roughly 60 lessons, they also cover some interesting angles, such as hiring or outsourcing as much as possible. A huge part of Spencer's 'secret' is that he will try and outsource or automate as much as possible. Allowing him to focus on the areas he is super confident and brilliant at.
You can read a full breakdown of Affiliate Secrets 3.0 here, or you can watch Spencer's breakdown and webinar here.
Spencer does also have a free version of his blog training, among others. You just need to throw an email address in and you are ready to go. Check out his free courses here.
Affiliate Secrets 3.0 Pros
- Spencer & Nate are experts in their respective fields and the course is broken down perfectly
- Nate covers everything from the basics to the more advance techniques
- There is a lot of downloadable content and homework to be getting on with
Affiliate Secrets 3.0 Cons
- It could be seen as an expensive option, as it doesn't just cover SEO (even though a huge part of it does)
General Affiliate Marketing Alternatives To Wealthy Affiliate
Wealthy Affiliate is of course, 90% focused on SEO and blogging, it teaches you about building websites or blogs, but that's not the only way to build an affiliate business.
As such, it's worth checking out a few courses and platforms that provide alternative ideas.
MyOnlineStartup
First up is the fairly well known MyOnlineStartup, or MOS for short. Another 'freemium' style training platform, that actually focuses on a variety of different online business start-up methods.
The free course that they offer does provide you with the same kind of information as Wealthy Affiliate, showing new entrepreneurs how to set up a website, they even suggest using Wealthy Affiliate as a cost effective way of hosting your website.
Each section will walk you towards getting your brand new spanking website up and running, with niche selection covered in the 'affiliate gameplan' section found elsewhere within MOS.
MOS is free, so there is no sign up fee, but you can pay to upgrade to essentially make MOS a private label product with your own affiliate links found within.
MOS Pros
- It's free to get started
- There are a number of different methods on offer
MOS Cons
- It's not as full, or as complete as other courses and relies on checking out other platforms to get everything you need to know.
Edit - It looks like MOS may actually be down, or at least not working properly, a lot of the videos are private, though they are still taking your money.
Legendary Marketer
A fairly unique training platform, Legendary Marketer are most known for 2 of their courses. The 15 Day Business Builder program, and the Business Blueprints.
Their 15 day business builder is exactly what it says on the tin, it's a funnel style program that takes you through 15 days of different videos and information, helping you get up and running in a little over 2 weeks. Starting with understanding what affiliate marketing is, to finding niches and eventually getting yourself a funnel set up.
Legendary Marketer does primarily focus on paid traffic, though they have branched out to TikTok and organic methods to generate views and eyeballs. They also really deal with funnels and email marketing, though the business builder blueprints do cover other methods such as blogging and YouTube.
They do also offer a rolling membership training course, for those who want ongoing support and may need more time than 15 days, or don't want to shell out for the blueprints.
You will need to grab the 15 day business builder to get started, and you can't directly get the business blueprints or any of the high ticket products without going through the cheaper, smaller programs.
Legendary Marketer Pros
- It's low cost to get started
- The 15 day business builder does provide you with the basics of getting started
- Dave and his team know how to build an online business and are eager to help you
Legendary Marketer Cons
- You will see upsells as you go through Legendary Marketer, it is a funnel
- You can feel like you have just purchased one upgrade and they instantly try with another. People don't always like that.
ClickFunnels Affiliate Bootcamp & One Funnel Away
A curve ball, and one that you won't find on many lists, but I personally think it's worth adding to any affiliate marketing course list. ClickFunnels know the affiliate marketing game, they may sometimes be behind the curve, but their boot camps and courses are still decent.
The Affiliate Bootcamp is a free 100 day summit, designed to get you started in the world of funnels and affiliate marketing. Taking some of their best affiliates and asking them to show how they would build their businesses as quickly as possible.
Considering this is a free course, you can get a lot of information and some brilliant ideas to help you get started. You can check out the bootcamp breakdown here if you want to see everything it contains.
Technically the Affiliate Bootcamp is a forefront for the One Funnel Away, and naturally leads you from learning all of these different ways to build a business, to actually helping you build that first funnel.
The One Funnel Away Challenge is spread across 30 days, and again they take you from having absolutely nothing, to having your first funnel.
This is definitely a different style from Wealthy Affiliate, and does only cost a single one off price, but to use the tools and methods, you are going to have to pick yourself up funnel builders and autoresponders, which could potentially cost you more than the Wealthy Affiliate monthly cost.
ClickFunnels Affiliate Bootcamp & One Funnel Away Challenge Pros
- It's free to get started, and the bootcamp is interesting to go through, even if you don't care about funnels
- You get a lot for your money with the One Funnel Away Challenge
ClickFunnels Affiliate Bootcamp & One Funnel Away Challenge Cons
- You really only learn about funnels, or building a business around a funnel
Wealthy Affiliate Alternatives Conclusion
So there we go, Wealthy Affiliate is a hugely popular training platform, with hundreds of thousands of daily members, but there are lots of alternatives to wealthy affiliate for you to check out.
From other SEO focused courses, to platforms that focus on funnels and email marketing. Which one you decide to go through really will depend on your final goal with building your new online business.
If you are unsure which route you want to go with Affiliate Marketing, I would recommend Spencer Mecham's Affiliate Secrets 3.0, he covers so many different angles and is hugely successful in this world.
I started this blog around 2017, after realising that I wanted to let people know about all the different ways someone could make money online. From DropShipping, Affiliate Marketing, Network Marketing and more.
This blog has now grown to review and explain a variety of different tools and platforms, in the bid to help you.
This blog contains affiliate links, and I will get a commission for purchases made through these links. It doesn’t change anything for you and will on occasion save you money! Enjoy, James.
