The Legendary Marketer Review

You will find a lot of reviews across the internet, and most of them are quite divided in their opinion. While writing this Legendary Marketer Review, I came across a really large polarity, with very few sitting in the middle. 

I found that either they are old reviews before Legendary 'cleaned up' shall we say, or they happen to have a hidden agenda *cough* Wealthy Affiliate *cough*. Or they are people who really love the product and obviously make a living from promoting it.

As such, I am going to try and be as unbiased as possible and offer the middle ground. Explaining what the platform is, what I like, what I don't like and even a few things I don't know much about but I have tried to find as much information as possible.

I will also look to answer some of the questions such as the background of Legendary Marketer, and how Legendary Marketer works as a platform.  

What Is Legendary Marketer?

The simplest way to look at it is to say Legendary Marketer is a marketing platform, stuffed full of funnels, products, training and opportunities.

There are around 11 different products and services on offer. Ranging from low-ticket ebooks or short-form digital courses. 

All the way up to high-ticket business blueprints and masterminds. I will go through all of the legendary marketer products later in this article.

They themselves market their platform, as an online educational platform, designed to teach you how to build a successful online business. They could be focused on affiliate marketing, consulting or even just good old-fashioned online marketing itself.

Legendary Marketer Background

This platform was created by someone who could quite easily be classed as a super affiliate or even a super marketer, a guy called David Sharpe.

He has been in the affiliate marketing industry for years. He has managed to teach tens of thousands of students and give them all the information they need to become successful affiliate marketers. 

Now, his background is one of the reasons that many people called Legendary Marketer a scam. Others use that to also say it was fake, or even that Legendary Marketer was a Ponzi scheme or MLM-style offer.

Empower Network.

David Sharpe comes from another network or platform called Empower Network, which actually was an MLM. It was around the time when MLMs were commonplace (they still are, just more tightly regulated) and readily accepted in the world of making money online. 

But the Empower Network eventually ran into trouble with the FTC in America, and all kinds of fun ensued, one of the major ones being a clampdown on how MLMs can work. 

The Original Legendary Marketer Platform

Long before I started with Legendary Marketer, it used to be a members-only club where you could only promote the product that you owned. So if you wanted to promote legendary marketer business blueprints, as an affiliate, you had to own the business blueprint bundle.

This is why many of the older reviews complain about the pricing model and the legendary marketer affiliate structure. Stating the only way you could make money would be by owning and then simply promoting those products.

Personally, I have no issue with only being able to promote what I own. It shows that I have gone through the training or platform and understood what I am selling. 

Obviously, it can be annoying if a company has some huge up-sells that you just can't afford and they don't offer any % from that sale because you don't own it, but then you just don't promote the company. Full stop. 

Others have argued, wrongly, that platforms such as Wealthy Affiliate (which is always the one that gets bought up, surprise surprise) don't require you to sign up or be a paid member to earn big commissions.

This is not true, with Wealthy Affiliate, if you have a free WA account, you make a much smaller commission and are even locked out of some of the commissions on offer. 

Again, I don't care that much either way, but don't get caught out by people throwing their dolls out of the prams about it. Especially as the Legendary marketer affiliate program is now a level playing field (You don’t have to pay for higher commissions). 

It would also seem that the original Legendary Marketers' price points, were a lot higher than they are now. With some of them going up to around $30k for some of their offers.

What Does Legendary Marketer Include?

Right, let's get onto the real reason anyone would read this Review Of Legendary Marketer, to fully understand what is included or what legendary marketer actually contains. 

As you probably know, Legendary Marketer is partly a sales funnel, or a  lead generation funnel. Designed to offer really good courses or training at a low price point, and then slowly offer them higher-priced items. 

The products and offerings inside Legendary Marketer do change. With new eBooks, mini-courses, courses and even private coaching services appearing and disappearing every now and then. So everything you see below is the current offerings or possible offerings that Legendary Marketer have sold. 

The majority of the products on offer revolve around affiliate marketing courses or teaching online marketing. 

I was going to remove some, but products such as the Omni Branding have been displayed on their main website, as upsells and as down sells, as well as vanishing for a few weeks, so it can be difficult to keep up!

The Insiders Guide eBook

The Legendary Marketers Inside Guide eBook itself costs $1.99 and offers a 90-page guide to affiliate marketing.

It's designed to get any new affiliate marketer off on the right foot. It has been written to give people the foundations to affiliate marketing and how to build an online affiliate business. 

It may be seen as a good companion to the 15-day business builder, or even other affiliate marketing courses. 

There are 12ish chapters, broken down into 3 main parts. Check out the full breakdown to see everything inside.

The eBook funnel actually gives you access to the 15 Day Challenge that you will find more about below, which obviously includes the ability to have a 1-1 consultation with a business adviser, who will help you set up and shape your affiliate business.

The Copywriters Playbook

A relatively new addition to the Legendary Marketer platform, The Copywriters Playbook is a low cost, highly valuable mini-course. 

Focused on teaching affiliate marketers how to leverage the power of stories to help sell products, helping you to become a better writer, more competent storyteller and overall a decent copywriter.

The course costs $1, and gives access to a 46 page eBook and 16 videos, and an activity book that can go along with it, but is a kind of condensed version of the work. 

Legendary Marketer did really well with this offering, considering the amount of value packed into a single eBook, I don't know many other products or eBooks that cost $1 and come with so many videos and detailed information. 

This offering does come with a number of bonuses, that are quite similar, if not exactly the same as the Affiliate Insider Guide and any of their other low cost offerings.

15 Second Free Leads

Another new offering from Legendary Marketer and Dave Sharpe, the 15 second free leads course focuses on a huge traffic source for affiliates, TikTok. 

At this point most people will run away, scared about making TikToks and declaring no one over 18 goes on it.. You would be wrong.

TiKTok has huge potential, and this $1 mini course really does explain how you could leverage the power of this massive audience. With around 2 hours of content, really does go into a hell of a lot of detail, explaining how to create videos, targeting, tips and tricks and a load more. 

As with most of their digital courses, I think it's worth reading or watching, soaking in the information and giving it a try. 

For $1 you can't really go wrong, even if you decide TikTok isn't for you, the information about video creation and targeting is still useful. 

15 Day Business Builder Challenge

The 15 day challenge is one of Legendary Marketers core products that it sells. The whole program has been created to introduce someone to the world of affiliate marketing, and get them set up with their own online business in you guessed it, 15 days. 

It is quite a hard few days, with videos, homework and quizzes designed to get as much information into your brain as possible in those 15 days.

As part of the 15 day challenge, you do also get access to a business consultant or business advisor. They are designed to help you go from day 4 onward guiding you towards having that website or business set up, geared towards affiliate marketing.

Originally this course was focused on paid traffic, this has changed a bit with the virality of social media and how easier it is to generate a successful affiliate income with free traffic. 

You also get access to the same bonuses you would get with the Insiders eBook, but you don't obviously get the eBook, and you also don't get access to the 18,000 person strong Affiliate Facebook Group. 

Personally, I would grab all of the low-ticket products and make yourself a little bundle of information that you can read or listen to in your own time. For under $20 you can get a lot of information to start that online business.

Legendary Marketers Club

It is huge in its depth and breadth of information included. The core of the Marketers Club is 6 different core areas, that are further broken down into 5 - 15 videos per section. 

Currently, the different areas are;

As well as these core modules, Legendary Marketer also run monthly lives and training sessions, designed to give you new information every single month. 

A bit like Wealthy Affiliate like to do, but with more value and less hating on everything else.

Every time one of the trainers goes live, they base it on a particular topic. From email marketing to Google or Bing ads and each video will get added back to the club archives. 

Omni-Branding Formula

This is one of Legendary Marketers' newer product releases.

The premise of the guide, or should I say 'formula' is that you can create multiple pieces of content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and more, from one single piece. 

It allows you to keep creating and making content, without you running out of ideas, or content. As David said himself, it's about being Omnipresent, being everywhere at once. 

The more eyes you get on your content, the more people you will likely reach, and potentially become buyers or readers. 

I caught a snippet of some of the content when it was being launched, but haven't managed to get hold of it myself yet, mainly due to the fact I don't do a lot of video work, but for those who are putting out video content or want to start upping videos or live content, it's definitely worth checking out.

It's broken down into the following modules

The Omni-Branding Formula costs $47, but it does come with a bunch of bonuses to help you increase your traffic, shorten the time you see results and also ads and templates to help you hire talent to automate! You can also grab this offer from within the Legendary Marketer platform and is unlocked after completing the 15 Day Challenge.

From checking out other reviews and videos, people seem really happy with the formula, to this date I haven't picked it up, but that's mainly down to my style of an online presence.

Traffic Rolodex Bundle / Traffic University

The Traffic Rolodex (Or Traffic University as it's now called) is a product that could be sold for 4 - 10x the amount it's offered to Legendary Marketer members, and there are courses out there that do just that. 

The Traffic University is 9 individual courses, aimed at providing you with the core steps and details about how to advertise on social networks as well as native ad platforms.

This digital course does focus on both paid traffic (Ads) and free traffic (social media). So you can essentially choose the route you want to follow. 

You are shown the following traffic methods;

• Google
• Facebook
• Instagram
• YouTube
• Google Display Networks
• Twitter
• TikTok

One of the reasons I think it's worth the money is the fact it's not some high-level training where an instructor just says 'create an ad that sends someone here'. They actually show you. 

I have in the past purchased other digital products that have focused on paid ads, and they end up just being a little bit about the platform and a high-level view of an ad they created, and that’s it. 

Business Blueprints

Aimed at those who want an in-depth, next step to building their online business. The Business Blueprints are designed to give you absolutely everything to achieve your particular goal and they are comprised of 4 main blueprints

They are sold individually, but you can purchase something called the ‘Business Blueprint starter package’ or ‘Business Blueprint bundle’, whereby you get access to all 4 of the following blueprints, for a single price. 

The Business Blueprints starter package also provides access to the ‘Decade In A Day’ training and of course a string of other bonuses designed to get you on the right path as quickly as possible. 

As mentioned, there are 4 business blueprints on offer.

Affiliate Marketing Business Blueprint

The first of the blueprints is perfect for those who just want to get on with it. It focuses exclusively on the affiliate marketing side of building an online business. So if you enjoyed what you learn within the  and builds upon the 15 day challenge, then the affiliate marketing business blueprint may be the right one for you. 

The beauty of this method and style is that you don’t need to create any products yourself. You can simply find, apply and then promote other people's products to start generating commissions.

The training has been designed and geared towards David Sharpes' favourite topic which is high ticket marketing. They teach and guide you towards finding and understanding the right products for you to promote.

So it might be platforms such as Super Affiliate Accelerator which pay out $100 - $2500 commissions directly or might be high-value coaching for Fitness modules, it's not just tied towards one single niche or online area. 

Promoting higher-value products allow you to hit those goals and targets easier. You require fewer sales per month to hit targets from those high ticket commissions. So rather than having to sell 1,000 x $20 products in a month, you would only need to sell 10 x $2,000. 

At the end of this particular affiliate marketing course, you should have built your own online business.

Digital Products Business Blueprint

Not everyone wants to sell other people's products, instead, they want to learn how to craft their own products and sell them. They want to become a vendor.

The digital marketing business blueprint is designed to help you take your knowledge, no matter what it might be and turn that into written courses, videos, audio products or anything that can be digitised and then sold to your audience. 

The best part is that it's not all about just creating the product, it's also about finding the right platforms, learning how to deliver it and how to market your new digital product to your potential audience.

Coaching & Consulting Business Blueprint

My bread and butter, consulting can be a real ball-ache. I learnt how to become a business and IT consultant over 9 years of handwork and guessing. I had no blueprint or framework to follow, but I wish I did, it would have been so valuable, as coaching and consultancy can be used across so many different areas.

As with the others, you are given everything you may need to start building your own work from home empire. 

Aimed at teaching and showing people how to start coaching, teaching and consulting others on your chosen niche or area, how to sell and then also how to scale and increase your profits!

Events & Masterminds Business Blueprint

Events and masterminds can be a licence to print money and can be a great way of bringing in leads and potential business. Designed to provide a ton of value for a certain price point to a huge number of people in one go. 

A lot of people have moved away from live events or masterminds to focus on webinars or talking via messenger, so becoming an events guru can allow you to stand out from the crowd.

This blueprint, much like the others focuses on how you can plan, build, host and then of course scale your masterminds or events. It will also cover aspects of finding and hiring help, businesses and of course facilities to help with building your business.

Legendary Marketers Mastermind & Coaching

The final products on offer within the LM platform are the Mastermind And Coaching programs. These are aimed at those who want as much guidance and coaching as they can take.

Legendary Marketer Mastermind 

A product that was actually held virtually for a while, the mastermind training is now running as an in-person event. 

Whisking you away to beautiful destinations, the masterminds are there to guide you along in a live group environment. If you are someone who learns better with other people in the room, or with the ability to ask questions in a group environment, this may be the option for you. 

You can actually purchase this as its own product or within a Legendary Marketer Mastermind and Business Blueprints bundle. The bundle is possibly the more sensible way to do it, as it allows you to get started with the blueprints before heading off to the mastermind.

Legendary Marketer Coaching

If you fancy being taught by Dave himself, and you have the cash to splash, then the coaching bundle might be the one for you. Aimed at offering a group coaching deal, you are essentially being given everything inside of Daves head and being taken through the blueprint and other areas of legendary to help you build that online business. 

How Does Legendary Marketer Work?

As you can see from the above products and training available, Legendary Marketer works by offering different curricula to entrepreneurs and business owners. Each product or training is designed to help them to branch out and learn new skills or build new businesses based on a variety of different areas. 

The training is provided by videos and downloadable content found within the Legendary Marketer platform, accessible anywhere with an internet connection.

Each product is set out with what Legendary Marketer call their ‘curriculum’, essentially being given a set number of lessons (it's like being back at University!). 

With the challenge, each day is locked until you have marked off your work and completed everything. The Rolodex and Affiliates Marketing Club etc are just provided in one big format with all the information given to you in one go so you can go through each at your own pace.

How Much Does Legendary Marketer Cost?

As there are a variety of products within the legendary marketer platform, there is quite a price range for both their digital products and of course masterminds and live training.

I have tried to bundle these together, around their pricing to make it a little easier to understand.

The Legendary Marketer Products range from $1 - $9500 for the full business blueprint and coaching package.

Low Ticket Products

The lowest product currently costs just $1 for the 15-Second Free Leads that provide you with a pretty in-depth guide on leveraging TikTok.

Next up are the other books & mini-courses for $1.99 such as the Insider Guide To Affiliate Marketing eBook, or The Copywriters Playbook, both of which come with the 15-Day Business Builder Challenge as a bonus.

Finally, there is their most famous digital product, the online business builder challenge, which sells for $7.

Medium Ticket Products

Three offerings sit within this range. Though it's worth bearing in mind, you can't buy these products without first owning one of the low-ticket products seen above.

The Legendary Marketers Club could be seen as the cheapest, at only $30, but it's a recurring monthly fee. So you may see it as a great ongoing investment and keep that $30 subscription.

Next, is the Omni Branding Formula course. This is a one-time fee of $47 and does include additional bonuses. 

Finally, in this bracket, we have the “Master of Enrollment, Story Selling Formula, and Attraction Code” training bundle. Essentially three courses rolled into one, costing you $97. 

Once you have got access to the rest of the platform, all 3 of these products are made available. Sometimes they are even offered as you work through the 15-day business builder challenge, so keep an eye out for them if they sound like something you want. 

High Ticket Products

Finally, the high ticket items that Legendary has to offer. You can actually save money by getting some of these products as bundles. 

Traffic University is the first one on offer, at $1497. 

The blueprints are next, costing $2500 each, or you can purchase the business blueprint bundle for $2500, which includes;

• Affiliate Marketing Business Blueprint
• Consuting Business Blueprint
• Digital Products Business Blueprint
• Masterminds Business Blueprint 

You essentially save yourself $7500 if you decide to get the starter package.

If you are after additional knowledge and support, then you can get the Business Blueprint Bundle With Mastermind, costing $4500 (again this can be cheaper than getting the mastermind separately). 

And finally, if you want to go all out, then the coaching package is going to be the one for you. It comes with the 4 blueprints above but then is elevated with a group coaching session with Dave himself. You will need to invest $9500 to gain access to all that. 

What I Liked About Legendary Marketer?

For me, one of the biggest draws for Legendary Marketer is the value that comes from their products. The basics challenge and eBook both come with around $900 worth of bonuses attached to them, including access to mentors and training. 

Even the $30/month Marketers club provides a ton more value than other services within the same market, for example, Wealthy Affiliate. 

The Value

The training and videos etc themselves are in-depth and in my opinion better than some of the other videos you might get for similar priced training sites. 

I also enjoy the fact there are different price points. So if you just want to get the basics nailed down, it costs under $20. You can upgrade and grab the marketer club for a month or two, and still be under $100 spent. 

Limited Affiliates

Unlike other affiliate marketing courses, to become a legendary marketer affiliate, you need to actually apply for and be accepted. 

You of course also need to join legendary marketer and own one of the products to be able to promote it. 

That means you have to have gone through the 15-day business builder (and have the basic knowledge of affiliate marketing).

Multiple Streams Of Income

If you decide that promoting legendary marketer is for you, then you actually get the option of adding additional income streams.

As people go through the Business Builder challenge, they are shown platforms that might help them.  For example, ClickFunnels is shown as the funnel builder to use, as well as email responders like GetResponse.

What I Don’t Like About Legendary Marketer?

I only have one issue with Legendary Marketer, and it's something I have bought up in the past.

Two Tier Commissions

If you are successful in being accepted into the affiliate program for Legendary Marketer, you get access to two separate tiers. The completely free option, whereby you don't have to do anything aside from sharing your link and being paid for it. This is all well and good, but you only get rewarded with 10 - 30% of the commission. 

Legendary Marketer used to get called out for being pay to play, having to own products to promote them, i.e having to own the $15k product to actually promote it to someone else, which I have always felt is a bit off.

Considering Legendary is a large funnel and you have little to no influence over someone deciding to buy the higher tiers, so why should you be punished if someone you bought onto the platform decides to buy something you may not have been able to afford.

Though luckily we don't have that issue anymore. But, we do still have the fact that if you just want to promote legendary marketer, as they teach within the 15 day business builder and the on going training, without paying, you will only get a fraction of the commission. 

For those who want to access the higher commissions, you will need to pay $30 a month for the privilege? I guess is the second step to ensuring that less people actually go on to promote legendary?

As of 2022, Legendary Marketer removed their monthly cost for promoting the products, as explained in the now updated Legendary Marketer Affiliate Article, everyone is now rewarded with the same commission structure.

The Funnel

It's no secret that the Legendary Marketer Platform is built as a funnel, with the low product designed to bring people onto the platform, and then other products promoted to each customer as they go through. But it can get a little annoying.

My largest annoyance with it, is that sometimes it feels like you haven't quite managed to finish the first thing, such as the 15-day challenge before offering to sell you more training or higher-tier products. 

I appreciate the value and the information you get in these other products, but maybe let someone finish the first part, have a breather and really understand what they have just learnt before throwing them the next product too them.

Is Legendary Marketer A Scam?

The short answer to this is no. Legendary Marketer is not a scam and it's not fraudulent. 

It does have its quirks, a slightly shady past, some bad habits and a few annoyances, but it's not a scam.

People have called LM out for all kinds of things such as being an MLM company, and even a pyramid scheme, which is a little hard to fathom. Most of the voices calling Legendary out are just trying to promote other platforms such as Wealthy Affiliate, or even ClickFunnels.

Yep, someone said Legendary Marketer was multilevel marketing, while asking people to sign up to a platform that recently had to ban people from sharing funnels, designed to share funnels. Let that sink in.

Legendary Marketer Blocked Countries

Unfortunately, not every country is available to sign up and use legendary marketer. There is a long list of banned or blocked countries, which does mean if you are interested in signing up to legendary marketer, or the legendary marketer affiliate program, you are out of luck. But, you could always check out this list of other affiliate programs that might take your fancy, and don't usually have blocked countries. 

Legendary Marketer Review 2023 - Conclusion.

Well, after weighing both the pros and cons of Legendary Marketer, I believe it really is worth it for the price. 

You can get started and learn the basics of affiliate marketing for around $1 - $7, and start really getting into the interesting stuff for $30, which is a great price considering the ongoing support and information you are given. 

The higher ticket offers are drenched in their own value, far beyond the original price, and they can really take you from 0 - Hero if you put your mind to it. 

One thing I found while writing this legendary marketer review is that lots of people are still hung up on old reviews and posts, long before Legendary decided to make sweeping changes. I believe it's worth investing in their low-ticket items and seeing how much value you can get from them.
