When it comes to trying to find the right product, or even the right supplier, it really can be a pain.
You ideally need to spend the time and the resources to find these people. Sometimes it can take minutes, others it can takes hours, days or even weeks.
But a question that get’s asked a lot, is if this effort can help you improve your chances of success with eCommerce, especially with regards to wholesalers.
As with any business, the success relies on building a good, solid relationship with your wholesaler, and using a company such as Salehoo or World Wide Brands (there are plenty of other wholesale lists) can improve your situation.
A solid relationship with your wholesale means that you can build a long term business partner, who want to succeed as much as you do. The more that you succeed with high quality products, standard KPIs and even reduced prices.
Wholesalers are always on the look out for long term partnerships, as with any business they want to find someone who is in it for the long term, and not someone who has set up a shop to sell one product for 2 weeks and then shoot off.
The problem, is that it can be difficult to find these wholesalers, if you look on sites such as AliExpress, you find thousands, if not hundreds of thousands. You will soon become inundated it and it can be difficult to find a decent supplier. It can be quite literally like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
The solution is simple, and comes in the form of a service called wholesale list suppliers. These service providers give people lists of suppliers who have been vetted.
A vetted supplier can be the difference between getting a fake, or low quality product, and a high quality long term item you can sell for years to come.
Salehoo is by far the cheapest, costing around £69 a year, giving you access to 8,000+ vetted suppliers. Plus you get guarantees on top of the fact they have been vetted.
This means that for a business, they know they will be getting a high quality product, that is not a fake and if it turns out that the company is fake or doesn’t live up to their side of the bargain, you are covered by Salehoo.
Another plus side to using companies that offer wholesale lists, is that some actually offer companies who will DropShip a product for you. This means, again you do not need to trawl through AliExpress, Alibaba or even apps such as Orbelo.
As with the wholesale side of life, if you find a company that offers DropShipping, you can build up a level of trust and professional relationship, doing so a supplier will and can offer you better rates, or offer to reduce the length of time that you have to wait for products to be shipped.
Baring all these in mind, paying a small fee each year could potentially save you time and money in the long run, by getting access to high level, vetted suppliers without having to do the old fashioned way of trial an error.
I started this blog around 2017, after realising that I wanted to let people know about all the different ways someone could make money online. From DropShipping, Affiliate Marketing, Network Marketing and more.
This blog has now grown to review and explain a variety of different tools and platforms, in the bid to help you.
This blog contains affiliate links, and I will get a commission for purchases made through these links. It doesn’t change anything for you and will on occasion save you money! Enjoy, James.
Thanks!
